Spring has sprung...

....well at least for now it's springy, even a little summery!  It was 84 degrees yesterday!  So bring on the cotton yarn and the hair bows!  I've been trying lots of new patterns for spring and having a lot of fun with color!
This is the first pattern I've used from Loops of Love, and I love it!  Would make a great Easter hat!

This is definitely not the first pattern I've used from 3 Boys & a Ball of Yarn!  I love all her patterns!

And these Chicks are my favorite!  Pattern from http://www.busymomdesigns.com/

And we can't forget the hair clips and headbands!

Lots of these will be going to an upcoming craft show and some will posted to facebook for sale!  If there's something your interested please visit By His Hands Crochet on Facebook.  Or email me at byhishandscrochet@hotmail.com!

Happy Spring!

My Space!

Finishing our basement has been quite a process!  My husband continues to amaze me with just what he can accomplish!  One of my favorite parts is my new space!  I'm not too sure who is more excited about my new work space?!?!  My husband is thrilled because my junk isn't all over the place!  I"m thrilled because I can make a mess and I don't have to clean it up!!!
It's not completely set up yet, I'm still working around molding and doors, but that's just fine with me! It's mine!

So far I've had some great company while I'm downstairs working!  He discovered the new road carpet I had stashe away while on a little trip to the basement for the recent tornado warning we had.  Once he found it, he hasn't stopped enjoying it!

The new space is oh so important right now because we have a craft show coming up next weekend.  My mom and I have a booth together, she sews those cutie dresses!  Neither of us has ever actually participated in one before (we sure have spent a lot at them) so we're pretty excited!  Just trying to have enough stuff to sell!  Every minute has been devoted to getting these hats done!

Almost there!

Photo Shoot Day

Obviously I love to crochet!  But I also love to take pictures of my kiddos!  I don't do it often, but when we do play around with the camera, it always turns out good...not because I'm good at taking pictures, but because I have such cute things to take pictures of!  When I finished this hat today, I knew I had to put it on Ellie's head!

A "photo shoot" at my house consists of Noah and I taking Ellie outside somewhere, and then letting Noah make her smile while I shoot away.  Here's what we got today...
Someone wasn't doing his job well...since he's in the picture!

The secret to our success!

My Partner

Then Noah wanted to wear a hat too....so I let him model this mornings new pattern attempt....
Believe it or not, Ellie is much easier to take pictures of, Noah doesn't stay still!  This is definitely an adult sized hat...an adult with big hair like mine!  It was a great day!

Camo Cuties

I have to give my Dad the credit on these ideas...there's a creative genius hidden in him...somewhere :)!  My mom and I are doing our first craft show in October in Woodstock, VA.  (It's okay if you have no idea where that is...although they have moved up in the world, they have a Wally World).  Anyway my Dad said I need to get some camo in there..."that'll really sell up there" were the exact words.

I'm excited to play some more with the camo!
